Designations
|
IREM® confers several
important and recognized designations for real estate management
professionals. The best known of these is the
CPM® designation. An
individual can achieve recognition as a Certified Property Manager® only
after extensive training course work offered through the Institute and after
several years of experience gained in the field. This designation is one of
the most difficult to earn in the real estate profession. It is highly
prized and is well worth the effort. Residential managers can earn the designation as an Accredited Residential Manager®. The ARM® designation is one of the most easily recognized professional designations in our field, and is also highly prized. Real estate management companies looking to stand above the rest can seek designation as an Accredited Management Organization®. AMO® firms are recognized in the real estate field as outstanding representatives in the profession. In addition to the above designations, our local chapter offers a Professional Partner Program. This program is designed to benefit the property management professional who is not yet ready to obtain the CPM® designation, but who wants to keep up-to-date on changes in the industry and further their professional career. For more information regarding how you or your firm can go about achieving these designations, please contact our Chapter Administrator, Barbara Gilliland by email at bpgilliland@grra.org. |
